Private Lessons by appointment. Traditionally,
yoga is taught in small groups and one-to-one. This allows the
instructor to direct the session in such a way that best suits
the student.
Beginners establish a solid foundation
in the core techniques of the practice — this being the precise
breathing, movement and meditation.Experienced students including yoga
teachers take private lessons as a way to refine their form
and to get feedback and advice from a skilled eye. Students who are injured
or have special needs take individual lessons to learn how to
practice yoga therapeutically and adapt to their circumstances.
The foundation gained through individual yoga lessons will easily
translate into Mysore class and your home practice.
Self Practice: Time for experienced students to work independently
on their own practice. Although teachers are often present, at
this time no instruction or adjustments are given.
